The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) Honours is a professional law degree with a duration of five years. It is a dual degree the arts is integrated with law. As part of the BA LLB (Hons) course, candidates have imparted education not only through classroom teaching methods but also by means of case studies and moot courts. The core subjects taught in BA LLB (Hons) are Legal Method, History of Legal & Constitutional Development, Law of Contracts, Law of Property, Law and Poverty.

The eligibility criteria for admission to this program is as given below. 

  • 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board.
  • 5% relaxation for the reserved category students. 
  • The basic aggregate marks required changes based on college even though most colleges follow the above mentioned. 


Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) Hons. Admission Process 

There are two kinds of admission process for the program enrolment. Entrance based and merit-based. 

Entrance Based Admission: Here the admission is allotted based on the national and state level entrance exams such as CLAT, AILET, LSAT India, APLAWCET, HP-NLET, MHCET Law etc. Students with the relevant cutoff marks will get the admission in the respective colleges after counseling. 

Merit-Based Admission: This also can be called as Management Quota admission or Direct admission. In this admission process, the student has to apply directly to the desired university or college through their application process. Some of them offer online and some offline. However, if you wish to apply to any college that is listed in our portal, you can make a direct application to the college by using our online application form after selecting your choice.
