SPA Delhi : Admissions

The School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi is a prestigious institution that provides a range of academic programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. levels. • Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
• Minimum aggregate of 50% for the General Category and 45% for the Reserved Category.
• Diploma holders with Mathematics as the main subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% are also eligible.

• National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA):
• Candidates must have appeared in NATA and scored a minimum of 55% (50% for Reserved Category).
• JEE Main:

The School of Planning and Architecture Delhi offers a B.Plan course as part of its undergraduate education programs, with a capacity to intake 35 students. The B.Plan program is a full-time course that spans four years.

• Applicant must have passed the 12th standard examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

SPA Delhi offers a postgraduate program, Master of Architecture, as part of its postgraduate offerings. The course spans two years, with a total intake of 46 students. Within the M.Arch program, two specialisations are available, each with a capacity for 263 students.

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• Candidates must have appeared for the GATE or CEED entrance exams and have scored a minimum of 60% in the GATE or 70% in the CEED.

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Planning, or a related field from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

• To be eligible for the M.Arch program, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their B.Arch examinations. 
• However, a 5% concession is provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.

• The selection process for the M.Des program at SPA Delhi is entirely merit-based. 
• Applicants must have obtained valid marks in the Bachelor of Architecture degree. 
• Additionally, the evaluation will include the candidate’s portfolio of work experience as part of the eligibility criteria. 
• A written test and a personal interview will also be conducted. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified GATE or CEED.

SPA Delhi also offers a postgraduate program called Master of Business Engineering and Management (MBEM). This course is designed to focus on Business Engineering and Management. It is a full-time program with a duration of 2 years and can accommodate up to 31 students.
The essential eligibility criteria for admission to the MBEM program is a graduation degree, and the selection process is based on an entrance examination.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Four Year Building Science from a recognised university/institution established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature.

1. Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognised university with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
2. Candidates with a 5-year integrated master’s degree will be considered for admission with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
3. Candidates with a foreign degree must have their degree evaluated by an agency recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
