The college offers various courses in medical and
allied health sciences, such as MBBS, MD/ MS, DM/ M. Ch, BDS, MDS, B.Sc.
Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, BPT, MPT, B.Sc. in Allied Health Sciences, M.Sc. in
Allied Health Sciences, and Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
The eligibility criteria vary depending on the course
you are applying for. However, some of the common criteria are to complete the
relevant qualifying examination with the required subjects and marks, and to
qualify the NEET UG/ PG/ SS exam for medical and dental courses.

The annual intake of VIMS
for the MBBS program is 250 seats per year.
A student is eligible to
get admission to VIMS based on his/her merit score in the 12th standard board
examination as well as the qualifying marks gained in the NEET entrance exam.
The facilities provided
at VIMS include 1600 bedded hospital on a 65 acres campus, a world-class
library, separate hostels for boys and girls, a mess/canteen, transportation,
computer labs, and more.
While medical courses are
inclined towards treating patients with the actual practice of medicine,
paramedical professionals are service providers who coordinate and supplement
the nurses and physicians during their treatment protocols.
The clinical facilities
at VIMS are top-notch since the entire hospital cum academic campus with 1600
beds are installed with state-of-the-art tools and technologies, to achieve an
