Padmashree School of Nursing GNM Admission Process
- Visit the Padmashree School of Nursing website and click the "Admissions" tab.
- Application Form: Download the application form from the website and read the instructions carefully.

Padmashree School of Nursing Diploma in General Nursing Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have completed their 10+2 education with English as a separate subject and achieved a minimum of 40% in the qualifying examination.
- This qualification should be from a recognised educational board. Alternatively, candidates who have studied under the state open school recognised by the state government or the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognised by the central government are also eligible. While not mandatory, a background in science is preferred.
- Another eligible pathway is completing a 10+2 education in English and obtaining a minimum of 40% marks in the vocational ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery) course from a school acknowledged by the Indian Nursing Council. Alternatively, candidates can qualify if they have completed 10+2 with English and achieved 40% marks in the health care science vocational stream from a recognised CBSE board, state board, or centre. Additionally, individuals who are registered ANMs with passing marks are eligible.
- For foreign nationals aspiring to join, the equivalence of the entry qualification, which is the 12th standard, will be determined by the Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi. The institution and the state nursing council are responsible for ensuring that the qualification and eligibility of foreign candidates align with the requirements mentioned above.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 17 and 35 years old.
Reservation Criteria:
- Disabled Candidates: A reservation of 3% is allotted for disabled candidates with a locomotor disability ranging from 40% to 50% in their lower extremities. These candidates must also meet each nursing program's age and qualification criteria.
Please Note: A committee comprising a medical officer authorised by the state government's medical board and a nursing expert will be constituted. This committee will assess whether the candidates meet the criteria of having a locomotor disability of 40% to 50%.
- SC/ST Candidates: A relaxation of 5% of the total marks is provided for candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories.
- Other Reservations: Any additional reservations will follow the state government's directives.
Please Note: Reservations will be applicable only within the number of seats sanctioned by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and will not exceed this limit.
